Catherine Lamothe - Partner
OPTSC team member since 2010Catherine graduated from the University of Ottawa with a B. Sc. in Physiotherapy in 2004 and has joined our team at the Orleans physiotherapy location.Since then, she continued her education and received her acupuncture certificate (CAFCI) as well as her Sport Physiotherapy Certificate. She also took numerous post-graduate courses such as craniosacral therapy, movement impairments and retraining as well as manual therapy, just to name a few.
Catherine has worked with several sports and teams of various levels.She gained experience with football, soccer, track and field, hockey, lacrosse, field hockey, figure skating, speed skating, volley-ball, trampoline, basket-ball and tennis. She covered many local, national and international competitions. After working with the Ottawa Sooners for 5 years (junior football), Catherine went back to her childhood sport: gymnastics. She now works part-time with a gymnastic club, the Quebec Federation of Gymnastics as well as Gymnastics Canada. This brings her around the world, working with our Olympic athletes.
In her free time, Catherine refills her energy going to the gym and running. She is fluently bilingual, has a contagious smile and is passionate for her profession. She is devoted to the improvement of her patients’ health and pursues one objective: giving the best quality service.
