Here is the list of our full range of services:

1. Active Release Technique

This technique relieves you from adhesion formed after soft tissue injury. Adhesion is a natural consequence of the inflammatory process of tissue healing. Repetitive strain on injuries results in symptoms such as aching, burning, numbness and tingling.

Active Release Techniques (ART) is an effective approach to deal with acute and chronic tissue injuries like strains, sprain and tears.

We also treat our patients for adhesions formed due to micro-trauma, hypoxia, and friction between the tissues.

2. Acupuncture

Ottawa Physiotherapy & Sport Clinics provide acupuncture therapy in our patients in Orleans, Barrhaven and Westboro locations.

The process involves the insertion of tiny needles at specific points along the pathways or meridians of the body.

These pathways are believed to be energy channels through which energy flows through the body.

Acupuncture process is painless and can cure symptoms including:

3. Ottawa Aquatherapy & Back Pain Treatment

Aquatherapy uses the unique property of water to treat conditions with the impact that can't be reproduced on the land.

The aquatic therapy of pool therapy offered by Ottawa Physiotherapy & Sport Clinics consists of an exercise program performed in the water with one of our Ottawa registered massage therapy from one of our three locations.

The buoyancy of water provides support to the weight of the patient and lightens the stress on the joint. This therapy helps with performing exercises to strengthen muscle groups, decreasing swelling, relaxing muscles, and increasing blood flow to injured areas.

4. Athletic Performance Evaluation for All Sports

Our athletic performance evaluation (APE) program consists of several tests to establish a baseline for athletic activities.

Under this program, we provide athletes and help them implement personalized training regimes to improve the areas of athletic performance. The training regimen is designed based on the test results, request of the athlete or the attributes generally accepted for a given sport.

5. Chronic Pain

Our chronic pain rehabilitation programs help individuals to overcome physiological and psychological pain and return to life with more enthusiasm than ever before.
