Sue Reive
Registered PhysiotherapistSue has been practising physiotherapy for 38 years. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Since graduating she has worked primarily in outpatient orthopaedics. In 1994, Sue bought Kilborn Physiotherapy Clinic in the Alta Vista area which she successfully owned and operated for 29 years. In 2023, Sue merged Kilborn Physiotherapy Clinic with OPTSC Glebe. She is enjoying working and collaborating with an excellent team at OPTSC. Sue has a passion for learning and continues to take courses to further her knowledge and better serve her patients. Indeed, over the last 38 years she has taken numerous courses including Mackenzie Part A, Mulligan Technique, Shirley Sahrmann Courses, and a Soft Tissue Release Course. In 1994, Sue successfully passed the Part A Manual Therapy Exam with Honours. She believes in a hands- on approach to treatment augmented with exercises to regain functional strength and mobility. Further, Sue believes in educating her patients; For over 25 years, she has written monthly articles in the Vistas, a local community newspaper. “My goal is to educate people on different injuries including how to avoid them and what to do if you get injured; I want to help people help themselves”.
In her spare time, Sue enjoys running, biking, singing and piano. Indeed, Sue has completed numerous half marathons and 4 of the 6 major marathons: Boston, Chicago, New York and most recently the Berlin Marathon in 2025!
