Sue Reive
Registered PhysiotherapistSue graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, and she has now been practicing physiotherapy for 36 years. Sue’s physiotherapy work is primarily in outpatient orthopaedics.
In 1994, Sue purchased Kilborn Physiotherapy Clinic in the Alta Vista area, which she successfully owned and operated for 29 years. In 2023, Sue merged Kilborn Physiotherapy Clinic with OPTSC Glebe. She is enjoying working and collaborating with an excellent team at OPTSC.
Sue has a passion for learning and has continued her professional development to further her knowledge and to better serve her patients.
Over the past 36 years, she has taken numerous courses, including Mackenzie Part A, Mulligan Technique, Shirley Sahrmann Courses, a Soft Tissue Release Course, and numerous manual therapy courses. In 1994, Sue successfully passed the Part A Manual Therapy Exam with Honours. She believes in a hands-on approach to treatment augmented with exercises to regain functional strength and mobility. Sue strongly believes in educating her patients and the communities which she has served for over 25 years. Sue has also written and published monthly articles in the Vistas, a local community newspaper.
“My goal is to educate people on different injuries, including how to avoid them and what to do if you get injured; I want to help people help themselves.”
In her spare time, Sue enjoys running, biking, singing, and piano. Sue has completed numerous half marathons and ran The Boston Marathon in 2015.
