Sarah Cooper
Registered PhysiotherapistSarah graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to this, Sarah completed a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Health Science with an Honours Specialization in Rehabilitation from Western University.
Through Sarah’s extensive academic experiences, she has developed a passion for anatomy and musculoskeletal conditions. Sarah prioritizes client-centered care and tailoring rehabilitation plans to each individuals’ needs and personal goals, in order to get them back to what they love to do. Sarah is particularly interested in orthopedics and manual therapy and has completed her Level 1 Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal exam and is currently working towards her Level 2. Sarah practices using a combination of manual therapy, rehabilitation exercises and client education.
In addition to orthopedics, Sarah has also worked with specialized pediatric populations including Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, ASD, FASD, and other genetic and developmental conditions.
Sarah has always been involved in various sports, including varsity rugby during her time at Western University. She has also played competitive hockey, soccer, and volleyball. Currently, Sarah likes to stay active with snowboarding, x-country skiing, rock climbing, hiking, and golf.
Sarah is currently working at the Hunt Club location, and as a bilingual physiotherapist is ready to serve you in either French or English.
