Merrill Pappin
Registered PhysiotherapistMerrill graduated from Queen’s University with a Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2020. Prior to that she completed an Undergraduate degree at the University of Ottawa in Health Science.
During her time at Queen’s University, she gained experience working in a variety of orthopedic and sport injury settings with a focus on manual therapy skills and exercise prescription. After her first year of studies, she was awarded the scholarship in Physical Therapy, a distinction given to the student who embodies the values and best exemplifies all the roles and competencies of physical therapy in Canada.
To date, Merrill has pursued extra training that contributes to her good patient outcomes, including EIM Functional Dry Needling level 1 and the AIM Orthopaedic level 1 and 2 upper and lower body courses.
Merrill’s true passion is in pelvic health. She has taken courses with Pelvic Health Solutions making her skilled in treating urinary/fecal incontinence, overactive bladder, pelvic organ prolapse, and a variety of pelvic pain disorders. Seeing pelvic patients for pre-natal and postpartum care is an area that she excels in. She enjoys combining her skillset in both orthopaedic and pelvic physiotherapy to help women get back to their desired level of strength.
In her spare time, Merrill enjoys spending time outdoors cycling, skiing and camping with her husband and young son.
