Carrie Tranter
Registered Massage TherapistCarrie studied Biological Research at Seneca College prior to graduating the Advance Diploma 3-year Massage Therapy program at Centennial College in 2008.
She has been a qualified and registered member of the professions governing body, College of Massage Therapy of Ontario, since graduation and has been a practicing therapist for over 10 years.
She has volunteered Massage Therapy services in the Palliative Care Unit at Toronto East General Hospital, Rosalie Hall for Teenage Mothers in Toronto and the Varsity Athletic Facility at University of Toronto Scarborough Campus.
Her focus is on client rehabilitation and well-being for both short term injury recovery and chronic injury/pain management. She adjusts her treatment to best suit the needs of the client and the stage of recovery they are in.
On a personal note, Carrie has played competitive sports throughout her life and has won provincial and national titles in Soccer and Baseball. She has decades of experience raising, training and showing both horses and dogs competitively, winning titles in Canada and the United States. She is an avid outdoors person and enjoys living in the City of Ottawa and meeting the wonderful people who live and visit here.
