Cooper MacDonald
Registered PhysiotherapistCooper is a dedicated Physiotherapist Resident who graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy degree from Queen’s University. Prior to this, he completed an Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa.
Committed to ongoing professional development, Cooper has successfully completed post-graduate training, including Level 1 of the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Physiotherapy Program, and he is eager to continue advancing his skills with further certifications in the future.
Throughout his education and clinical training, Cooper gained experience in orthopaedics, sports-related injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Being particularly passionate about working with athletes of all levels, Cooper has provided sports physiotherapy coverage for the Thousand Islands Minor Football League. His own experiences with sports injuries and lifelong involvement in activities such as hockey, soccer, basketball, and volleyball have fueled his belief in the importance of movement and exercise in both recovery and performance. Cooper is dedicated to delivering individualized, evidence-based care that empowers patients to reach their goals, whether that means returning to sport, work, or daily activities.
Outside of the clinic, Cooper enjoys playing sports, going to the gym, and staying active in the community.
