Alexe Galipeau Wilson
Registered PhysiotherapistAlexe is a graduate of the Masters of Physiotherapy program from the University of Ottawa, having completed her degree in 2023. Prior to this, she graduated with an Honours in the Bachelor of Physical and Health Education from the University of Nipissing in 2019.
Alexe is fluently bilingual, with a keen interest in orthopedics, musculoskeletal and sports injuries. She has also completed her Functional Dry Needling level 1 course. Alexe plans on taking continued education courses, including her Functional Dry Needling level 2 course as well as the Manual Therapy levels.
Alexe grew up in Ottawa and has many ties to the sports community, particularly with basketball. This past year, she was fortunate enough to be selected as the strength and conditioning coach for the ONL-X (Ottawa Next Level) basketball program in Kanata. Having played basketball at Nipissing University, she understands the physical demands of high level sport and the importance of building a strong, mobile body for injury prevention and athletic performance.
Additionally, having been a Physiotherapy patient through many basketball-related injuries, Alexe understands the importance of manual therapy, rehabilitation exercise prescription and patient education geared toward self-management. Alexe is currently working at our Stonebridge location.
