Krysten Poirier
Registered PhysiotherapistKrysten is a bilingual Registered Physiotherapist who earned her Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University after completing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of New Brunswick.
Before pursuing physiotherapy, Krysten developed a strong foundation in manual therapy as a Registered Massage Therapist. During this time, she collaborated with physiotherapists and served as the team therapist for the University of New Brunswick’s Swimming teams, providing injury prevention, management, and treatment throughout the competitive season. With a special interest in orthopedics, Krysten has pursued extensive post-graduate training. She is certified in Part A: The Lumbar Spine through the Robin McKenzie Institute Canada’s Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) program and is progressing through the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Physiotherapy Program.
Krysten is passionate about enhancing her clients’ well-being through individualized, evidence-based care that combines manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education to empower her clients to take an active role in their recovery and overall wellness.
Outside the clinic, Krysten enjoys staying active through strength training, Pilates, and outdoor activities, and spending time with loved ones.
