Registered Massage TherapistLaura graduated in 2015 with an Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy from Algonquin College. Since then, she continues to seek out advancements to enhance her skill set. Additional courses in cupping and cervical mobility paired with a vast knowledge of the human body allow her to gauge what approach is needed to accomplish her client’s goals.
Her friendly and personable demeanor makes those coming in for a relaxation treatment feel calm, and those with acute or chronic conditions feel at ease. Fully aware that no two treatments are ever the same, Laura tailors each treatment to the individual client, ensuring a beneficial experience. Dedicated to her clients’ care she sees the value in each interaction.
Having worked with people from all walks of life, Laura is confident with her approach to many pathologies. She has successfully reduced symptoms in those who experience conditions such as TMJ disorder, post-concussive disorder, nerve impingements, fascial restrictions post-amputation, post-transplant recovery, stroke rehabilitation, scar-tissue work, seizure disorders, anxiety, and many more. After a thorough assessment, developing a treatment plan, and using the appropriate modalities and techniques, Laura will engage the client, answering questions, and will teach them remedial exercises to help them heal from home.
