What is Physiotherapy (Physio)
Physiotherapy assesses movement problems and treats pain, injury, and performance limits with evidence-based methods such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, education, and sport-specific rehab. OPTSC personalizes each plan and teaches you how to get better and stay better.
Sport focus at OPTSC: beyond general physio, the team delivers sport physiotherapy for recreational to elite athletes (including experience with varsity teams, Olympians and professional soccer players), running evaluations (two-session clinical + on-track analysis), vestibular rehab for dizziness/vertigo, pelvic health, post-operative care, and more.

When to Refer (Players or Coaches)
Refer an athlete to OPTSC if you notice any of the following:
Acute injury (ankle/knee/hamstring) with swelling, loss of function, or persistent pain beyond 48–72 hours.
Recurring niggles (hip/knee/foot) or performance drop linked to running form — ideal for the Running Evaluation.
Dizziness/vertigo after heading, collision, or illness — vestibular assessment can help restore balance and confidence.
Post-operative rehab or return-to-sport planning.
Pelvic health concerns impacting training load or recovery.
