My experience at Ottawa Physiotherapy and Sport Clinics has been nothing short of transformative. I joined the clinic as a student, eager to learn but still finding my footing in clinical practice. From day one, I was surrounded by mentors who generously shared their time, knowledge, and clinical reasoning skills dedicating countless mentorship hours to help me grow not just as a clinician, but as a critical thinker.

What started as a student placement grew into a full-time role, and eventually, into my current position as Clinic Manager. Along the way, I had the privilege of learning from some of the best in the field peers who challenged me, supported me, and helped shape the way I approach patient care today.

Now, one of the most rewarding parts of my role is being able to pass that same mentorship forward. Watching new students and clinicians develop their clinical reasoning, gain confidence, and find their own voice in practice is incredibly fulfilling. It’s a reminder of how much this clinic has invested in me.

Beyond the clinical growth, what truly sets OPTSC apart is the team. I work alongside my peers every single day in an environment that’s collaborative, supportive, and genuinely fun. It’s rare to find a workplace where professional growth and camaraderie go hand in hand, but that’s exactly what we have here.

From student to clinic manager, my journey at Ottawa Physiotherapy and Sport Clinics has been shaped by mentorship, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellent patient care and I couldn’t be more grateful to be part of this team.
