Amélie Boileau
Registered PhysiotherapistAmélie graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Master of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy in 2014 after completing an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences in 2012. Since graduation, she pursued various academic post graduating education including acupuncture as well as the McKenzie Part A : Lumbar Spine, Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy. She has completed her Level 1, Level 2 Upper Quadrant, Level 2 Lower Quadrant and the Level 3 Lower Quadrant within the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Her strong interest in the rehabilitation of orthopedic injuries and manual therapy are the reasons why she intends to further her professional development. Amélie believes in individualized treatments that focus in optimizing movement and improving function.
Amélie enjoys an active lifestyle. As a university student, she was a member of the University of Ottawa Women Fencing team. She now spends her free time running, going to the gym and fencing.
