EXERCISE PRINCIPLES LEVEL 1 (4-HOUR COURSE):
A clinical approach to exercise prescription that provides you with a structure on how to determine what level your patient is at and what exercise is appropriate for them. We will review a graded system which will help you determine when a patient is ready for exercise or if they would benefit from treatment/manual therapy prior to starting exercise. Also learn how to choose the appropriate level of exercise and learn stages to either scale the exercise up or down based on your patient's presentation. These principles are easily applied to any part of the body and will help take the 'guesswork' out of exercise selection and avoid the common error of giving patients exercises that are too high a level even though you may think it's easy.
